I feel so.. icky!

Some one out there has my information.. I got a letter from the University of Florida telling me that their security has been breached and that my information was part of the system stolen. They don't know if the intruder will use my information but they advised for me to take action to be safe. I put a alert on my credit accounts and will start the "process" to put a freeze on my accounts tomorrow. It shouldnt be so complicated to put a safety on my information! ugh this makes me feel so gross.. and paranoid! Someone has my address and my SS number.. as if I wasn't scared at night enough. gRRR

killing time

ah relief! Chandler and I are feeling much better after a weekend of torture. Chandler seems a bit tired today but thats about it. Now its time to assess the damage of laying on the couch all weekend and clean house. blah. no bueno.

so Mike is out of town for the week on business in Vegas. I hate these long trips. Especially since I didnt really get to see him before he left since I was sick. I tend to get very insecure when he is gone and not getting to snuggle with him or say goodbye doesnt help ease those feelings. Just gotta keep myself busy.. thats the key. Luckily christmas is around the corner so i am using that as an excuse to keep busy.

so.. random thought of the day..

I think I want to try to train to run a half marathon. I can't imagine the feeling of accomplishment finishing something like that. but how to get the drive or motivation or discipline to train for that.. thats the real problem. any ideas?

well I can't think of anything else to write about. that killed about 5 mins.. *sigh*

wow I am so ill right now. i can't keep anything down but the worse part is that my stomach hurts so bad. Actually the worse part is that this completely ruins my weekend. We were suppose to go watch a movie at a friends house tonight and than go early in the morning and go deep sea fishing. My husband is leaving for a week on a business trip so it was our chance to do something fun together. PLUS Sunday is Chandlers first primary program at church. He has a line and a song to sing.. hopefully I'll be better by than. Honestly I feel like I am dying.. blah. I have nothing to drink here and my jello is taking sooo long to well become jello. Sucks. pray for me *puppy eyes*

So Obama is now president. President Barack Obama... *sigh* hmm.. what to say.. what to say...

I hope and pray that I am wrong with my feelings of mistrust of Obama and fear for the country.

I think I am going to take a huge sleeping pill and sleep until next election. Hopefully when I wake up the country wont be in shambles.

Its our duty.

So last night after our tire fiasco, Michael and I sat down and looked at the sample ballot and discussed each issue and what they were all about. and also looked up all the candidates and discussed what each one was about. so we filled out the sample ballot and were pretty much set to vote in the morning. There were I believe two amendments that we didnt really know what they were about so we didnt vote on those and we didnt vote on the judges cause we couldn't find ANY information on them ANYWHERE.

I got up at 6:30 this morning, got dressed and drove (Mikes car) to the voting precinct. There were a few people in line but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. There were alot of booths so it went rather quickly. i was talking to another lady and she said that she couldnt find any information on the judges either so she was voting for them. She didnt want to make a uninformed vote. So I felt better about that.

I went in a did my thing, got my sticker, and left. when I started the car the DJ's were talking about other places that were giving away free stuff like Starbucks, Krispy Kreme, and Ben and Jerry's. WHAT?! lame. Oh well.. at least I did my American Duty. On the way home, the whole path way there were Obama signs that simply said Change. CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE. all the way home. I couldnt help but think of Monty Pythons Spam song. I would like change, change, change, change, sausage, and change. I DONT LIKE CHANGE!!!!! lol. I dunno.. it really turns me off of a candidate that feels they need to campaign THAT much. Its insane. I believe I saw one.. maybe 2 McCain signs.

Anyway I hope everyone got the opportunity to vote today. and I hope and I pray ( I REALLY REALLY pray) that this country gets put into the right hands.

Stranded

I had my appointment in Lake City yesterday at four as usual. Lake City is about 30 mins away from where I live by interstate. As I was coming home, I was behind this car and he did a really quick swerve out of the lane. It happened so quickly that I had no reaction time and I hit something.. a big something and it totally took out my back tire. At first I couldnt tell the tire was gone so I drove a bit but than it started getting out of my control .. but I tried the best I could to drive till I got to a call box which I did thankfully.
I pulled over and got out and looked at the tire.. or lack of.. totally gone. I pushed the button for the police and ran and jumped back into my car locked the doors and cried. Yes I know... I am a big baby. BUt I was alone of the side of the interstate in the middle of nowhere with no cellphone, no weapon of any kind.. in the pitch dark. One.. I am paranoid.. two.. I hate being alone.. and three I hate the dark.
But finally the officer came and she was kind enough to call my husband so he came to my rescue. We got the spare tire out and of course it was flat. *sigh* but it had enough air to put it on and drive to the next exit to get some air. SO we drove to a gas station put a dollar in the air machine and it broken.. GREEATT. Thats all the change we had. Luckily we were able to get home and had nice enough babysitters to watch the kids later than expected. But now I don't have a car cause we dont have the money to get new tires. Its my mission today to search the house for change (Wheres Obama with my promised change?) so I can put some air in the tire. So it was a fun night. But I was proud of my self for not letting in and destrying my whole night.

Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween! (a couple of days late)

Its hard to believe there are only two months left in the year. 2008 just FLEW by.

So our Halloween went pretty well. The kids dressed up and got alot of candy which made them happy which is what its all about. Chandler went as Optimus Prime which if you don't know who that is, is a transformer. He was so excited to be a transformer although he orginally wanted to be bumblebee. But the only Bumblebee costume I found was for older kids. Here is his costume...

He was very polite at every house we went to. He told everyone Trick or treat and walked into their house grabbed the candy and said thank you and Happy halloween and left. LOL. Thats our boy.

Gwyneth was little Red Riding Hood this year. She was sooo freaking cute! We got alot of compliments on her costume and how cute she was which does a parents heart good.

It took her awhile but twoards the end she started figuring out what Trick or treating was all about.. CANDY!
all in all it was a good night. Two exhausted kids and parents.. candy.. I love the Holidays =)

7/23/08

Nothing much to update today.. but I am sitting here sick and bored so I needed to do something.

Gwyn had her 15 month appointment last week. She is 22 pounds 30 inches tall. Happy and healthy. Got one shot. Was suppose to get alot more but We have made the decision not to get her shots till she is 2 years. It turns out that she is also getting her back molars. Not fun. Lots of drool. She is really getting into me reading her books. Her favorite is the Jungle Bus book. Though she gets a little impatient for the page turning.

Chandler is sick today too. Fun Fun. It makes for an even sassier Chandler. Sassier.. is that a word? I don't know.. don't care. Well there's not to say about Chandler right now. He is getting alot better at his letters. He is going through a little regression with his potty training for some reason. I have figured that one out yet. I am looking into putting him in a dance class. I think that wilkl be good for him. Get some of his energy out and he such a little performer. I think he might enjoy it.

I finished my ballet classes this week. Kinda sad. I was alot of fun. But she told us about an adult ballet class on Tuesday nights so she is going to send me some information on it. Hopefullyl it won't be too much.

We are starting to work on the house more.. Mike is working on the bathroom right now.. attempting to put a new light in that comes with a ventalation system in it. There's no fan in our bathrooms right now and the master bath is so small that it gets alot of mold. But it is proving to be alot harder than we thought to install. *sigh*

Anyway.. nothing else to report.

Jespersen Update

Wow... I haven't updated this in a long time. I am horrible at these things so if you ever see that I haven't updated in awhile.. give me a kick in the rear. I want to get better at this. Anyway..

Whats new.. The kids.Gwyneth is getting bigger and impossibly cuter by the day. She is now 14 months. She's a little chatter box but not a whole lot of words yet. She has the sweetest little voice. Her favorite word is "NO" =) Other words shes says are Baby, Silly (see-lee), Ni- Ni (nite-nite), juice, and of course mama and dada. She is a huge Daddy's girl.. its amazing how much they look alike. She is getting more into her baby dolls but still loves outdoors and sports and playing with Chandler's cars and dinosaurs (when he's not looking of course) She is also still into her veggies.. first thing she eats on her plate. Unfortunately she got sick this week out of the blue. Was vomiting on Wednesday and got pretty dehydrated on Thursday. She refused to drink anything so I had to force liquids down her. And yesterday and this morning she was constipated.. lots of screaming. We gave her lots of apple juice and fruit and gave her a warm bath and she finally went and was a lot happier as was everyone else in the house. She has her 15 month appt on the 17th.. will update than.



Chandler is growing up way too fast. He is definitely not my little baby anymore. I came to the realization that he will be 4 in two months! 0.O Holy smokes! We are working on his ABC's right now. And he is picking up on it fairly quickly. He is starting to recognize his name when he sees it now and he can write the letters C, G, H, K, O, and W. He is such an amazingly creative and abstract little boy. I would love to spend a day in his mind. He is quite the little artist. For a 3 year old he puts so much detail into his work. Every little thing that he does amazes me. Here are some of his drawings.. they are older ones.. my camera is broken so I haven't been able to take any pictures.

We started putting on some preschool waiting lists for next year. Unfortunately the deadline for school is September 1st so he wasn't able to get in this year since his birthday is on September 18. Which also means of course that he wont be able to start kindergarten till he is 6. =/ But anyway *hopefully* he will be going to the Montessori school here in town. So anyway, we still have some things to work on with him.. he is still very headstrong, very controlling, and tends to get frustrated very easily but I am so proud of him. He is definitely the coolest kid ever.

I had my oral surgery this week.. on Tuesday to be precise. Things went really well actually. My surgeons name was Dr. Randall Canton. He is such a wonderful surgeon. I wasn't in any pain afterwards and I didn't swell at all. I do have a bruise along my jaw line and I am still having trouble eating but all is well. I did however get sick this week though. I thought it was because of the surgery but everyone else got other than Chandler. Doing better today.. just tired.

I started my ballet classes a few weeks ago. Its a lot harder than I thought it was. But I am carrying it through.. haven't given up yet which is an accomplishment. I'm looking forward to taking another dance class in the future whether another ballet or maybe tap =) I believe taking this class has opened my eyes to a lot of things and there are so many things that I want to learn to do now.. its amazing what doors that little bit of courage has opened up. I'll post more about that on a separate blog.


Mike is doing well with work. He hasn't been traveling which is nice. Working hard so we can fix up the house and move. He is getting really into Golf. He took a community beginners golf class and did pretty well and looking into personal professional lessons. It'll be nice for him to have something to do for himself every once in awhile. He is also looking into taking guitar lessons.. but that was just something mentioned in the breeze. I don't know if it's still something he wants to do.

Anyways that was a nice long update. Hopefully I do better =) Happy reading.
